Virgin Holidays sign up Digital Visitor's 'Visitor Review'
Since 2006, Digital Visitor has continued to expand their list of clients for both social media and social networking solutions, and global video production services.
After securing a loyal customer base for their video production services to local visitor attractions and tourist boards such as the SS Great Britain, Bristol Zoo, Thermae Bath Spa and Destination Bristol, the team then developed their white-labelled social media and social networking solution, Visitor Review, to allow tourism businesses to fully experience the benefits of user-generated content and social media on their own websites, with their own branding.
Today, Visitor Review is being used by an exciting list of high profile clients – from internationally recognised travel brands such as Flight Centre and Voyages Jules Verne, plus International and UK tourist boards, and many individual visitor attractions across the country.
Their latest venture is with the UK’s leading worldwide tour operator Virgin Holidays who will soon launch their own social media solution on www.virginholidays.co.uk.
The solution will allow Virgin Holiday customers to share and exchange their travel experiences by posting photos, videos and reviews of destinations they travel to globally.
All of this user-generated content will be displayed on the relevant pages of Virgin Holidays website showcasing visitors with authentic experiences from other like-minded travellers.
Digital Visitor’s MD Anthony Rawlins says: “A key objective for implementing our solutions is to provide our clients, including Virgin Holidays, with a real measurable ROI by increasing organic traffic to their website, boosting the browsing time of their customers and increasing the volume of enquiries and conversions from booking pages displaying social media content and reviews”.
