Encounters 2010 Call for Submissions deadline looms!
Now in its 16th year, Encounters International Film Festival is firmly established as the UK’s leading short film festival. It is a key date in both the film industry and in the region’s cultural calendar, attracting huge local and national press attention.
Submissions for this year’s festival (16 – 21 November 2010) close on Wednesday 30 June 2010. This year sees the return of Animated Encounters with the competition programmes being divided into Brief Encounters (all short film, including animation) and Animated Encounters (animation only).
In an attempt to go green and reduce the amount of DVD’s submitted, Encounters have once again teamed up with YouSendIt to offer the opportunity to upload your film and save at least £5 off the submission fee. We are also offering reduced fees for early bird entries and multiple film entries.
