Jobs, Jobs, Jobs and Jobs!!!

The Jobs pages are by far the most visited section of our web site and it’s certainly become the “one stop shop” for all the major creative and media vacancies across the city and wider region.
We get over 13,500 unique page views to the jobs section across the average month, 53% of which come direct from London. A staggering 356 individual job applications were submitted via the site last month alone.
And it’s free for members to advertise jobs on the site.
Mike Bennett, Bristol Media CEO stated:
“We realise how important the jobs section of the site is to our members. Being able to recruit people quickly and find talent in the most efficient way is so important and if we can help members successfully recruit individuals direct, it’s a huge benefit with substantial cost savings.”
He continued:
“That’s why we have developed a standalone, weekly jobs bulletin, which will be sent out to our 4200 strong email database enabling individuals to see a round-up of all the recent jobs and vacancies from within Bristol, Bath and further afield.”
Al Kennedy from design consultancy, Open Comms agreed:
“One successful recruit via the Bristol Media site is worth our membership fee alone, so being able to get our vacancies out, directly across the community is vital.”
The new jobs bulletin will also contain a list of any new freelance and contract opportunities from across the region, automatically generated from within our Talent Retention programme. This database currently features the details of over 165 freelancers and over 60 businesses. It’s a new system that enables companies to track down talent whilst at the same time allows freelancers to highlight their availability. Anyone can register on the system, and it’s completely free of charge, thanks to the support of the South West RDA, who are the major project partners.
So whenever a company is looking for extra resource, we’ll be able to quickly and simply highlight the opportunities within the new bulletin and send them straight to you.
The jobs bulletin will go out every Monday afternoon, so look out for it within your inbox.
