Collaboration between Cheltenham Festivals, EDF Energy and science.TV

Cheltenham Festivals is pleased to announce the launch of a project, sponsored by British Energy – part of EDF Energy, with science.TV to provide access to programme content from its renowned The Times Cheltenham Science Festival, ‘unquestionably the leading Science Festival in the country’ according to Professor Robert Winston
This programme allows science.TV to develop innovative multimedia educational science and engineering resources for schools utilising leading experts in their field. These include Dr Alice Roberts, Professor Mark Lythgoe, Sir Jonathon Porritt and others from the 2009 Festival with many more planned to be produced at the 2010 Festival which will be held from 9-13 June.
Donna Renney, CEO of Cheltenham Festivals commented: “We are pleased to be associated with the creation of this new resource which will further our educational outreach activities to engage children with the importance of science and its impact on society”
