SXSW Interactive

This year’s festival will see several Bristol Media members taking part in panels and core conversations across interactive week, making Bristol one of the most active UK cities out in Austin.

The event, which kicked off last Friday is the world’s leading digital and interactive conference, attracting businesses from all around the globe.

Four subjects were shortlisted from Bristol out of thousands of submissions to talk at this year’s SXSW Interactive Festival.

Today, sees i-Shed director, Clare Reddington chair a panel on Pervasive Games and Playful Experiences: Rendering the Real World.

e3 hosted a core conversation for start up businesses on Saturday which was immediately followed by David Sloly from Mason Zimbler who talked about unplanning your business.

Rubberductions also hosted a talk entitled Nooks and Grannies

Other digital companies such as 3Sixty, Simon Games, and Strange & Dawson are out in Texas with local representatives from the Art Council and the Technology Strategy Board.
