Bristol City Council, in partnership with Bristol Media, Connecting Bristol and the Bristol Partnership, would like to invite a number of digital agencies to an informal discussion to help inform the future exploitation of the council’s website and wider digital presence.

The event will be at the Colston Hall, Upper Bar on Tuesday 9th March from 9.00am.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

09.00 – Arrival, coffee and informal discussions

10.00 – Welcome (Dick Penny) then introduction (co-chairs Mike Bennett, Chief Executive Bristol Media & Paul Arrigoni, Bristol City Council’s Service Director of Information and Communication Technology)

Presentations:

10.15 – Vision for the future site (Peter Holt, Bristol City Council’s Service Director of Communications and Marketing)

10.40 – Phase 1 deliverables and project update (Paul Arrigoni, see also notes below)

10.50 – Innovative Data Projects (Stephen Hilton, Connecting Bristol)

11- 11.30 Facilitated break out sessions discussing:

“What ideas do we have for quick wins, and how best can we create an open environment where the local digital community can contribute to the site’s longer-term utilisation and exploitation?”.

11.30 – Plenary feedback

12 noon – Next Steps (Paul Arrigoni and Peter Holt)
