UWE

The University of the West of England (UWE) recently received funding to sponsor 200 eight-week graduate internships in key sectors, including small businesses [less than 50 employees] and digital.

Similar to the past Graduate Placement Scheme, graduates receive £250 weekly training allowance (company contribution: £50 per week). The opportunities will be open to ‘all-comers’ and promoted via http://www.gradsouthwest.com/, the region’s graduate recruitment service.

For more information on the scheme — and to register interest — please visit UWE’s Graduate Internships page here:

The University will be encouraging UWE School of Creative Arts graduates to participate via GradSouthwest. Adrienne Noonan, Senior Lecturer, Employability & Industry Liaison said “We are really keen that companies we’ve worked closely with in the past — especially via the Graduate Placement Scheme and student placements — benefit from this great opportunity and investment in the development and support of creative talent here in Bristol and the region”. But the University is keen that new businesses take part in the scheme who have not yet benefitted from it.
