The Bristol and West Region is a television and multimedia powerhouse of international significance, something of which we can all be especially proud.

The West of England 2010 RTS Awards have a greater number of factual programme categories this year, underlining Bristol’s distinctive programming.  More recognition will go to the highly valued contribution drama makes to the region and we continue to highlight the excellence of regional television in all its forms. We are especially proud that this year we have been involved in extending the range of awards to include Best Digital Innovation; Best On-screen Game on any platform; Best Media Effectiveness, which covers campaigns to recognise the exciting growth of digital media for the first time.

The Call for entries from regional network and content producers is now live. The Awards are open to individuals, production companies and broadcasters and we encourage you to enter early.

All entries will have been transmitted between Dec 1st 2009 and Dec 1st 2010.

The Royal Television Society West of England Awards Ceremony will take place in February 2011
at the Cinema de Lux Cabot Circus Bristol.
