media trustCould you use your professional media and communications skills to make a difference to a charity or community group in Bristol or the South West?

Media Trust are hosting a free informal 'speedmatching' event in partnership with Bristol Media on Wednesday 8th December at The Kings Arms on Whiteladies Road. Like speed-dating, but (usually) without the romance, you’ll have the opportunity to meet all shapes and sizes of local charities as well as network with fellow local media professionals.

Media Trust Speedmatching
Date: Wednesday 8th December 2010
Time: 6.00pm – 8.00pm
Venue: The Kings Arms, 168 Whiteladies Road, Bristol, BS8 2XZ

You and the charities you meet will swap stories of skills and projects that need support, and maybe find a volunteering match with a charity whose work you'd like to support.

Please give Media Trust a call on 020 7217 3771 to book your place or email mail://mediamatching@mediatrust.org

Media Trust’s speedmatching events take place across England throughout the year. More information on how the event will work on the night is available online - www.mediatrust.org/speedmatching

If you can’t make it on the night but are still interested in volunteering then Media Trust can connect you with a charity that needs help from someone with your skills and experience. There are always requests for skills in PR, digital and marketing, so if that sounds like you or someone you know - get in touch with Media Trust. www.mediatrust.org/volunteer
