You may have heard us talking about it for a while but now's the time to find out more.
The new Creative Industries iNet (Innovation Network) is a £3.2 million programme of support designed to help the South West’s creative sector thrive and advance the region's growing reputation as a global creative centre of excellence. It is led by South West Screen, part of Solutions for Business and funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Bristol Media is one of the delivery partners and we are hosting an iNets Roadshow on the 30th November 2010. The evening will take place at the Square Club and will run from 16:30pm to 19:30pm. Soft drinks and canapes will be provided.
This will be an active, facilitated session which aims to provide more information and give you an opportunity to discuss, form and progress potential project ideas. The second half will be your opportunity to network with others to develop these ideas and build partnerships. Bristol Media and the iNets team are there to offer information, support and guidance as to what we can achieve together.
This is an exciting opportunity for Bristol Media members to connect to, and become involved in, the iNet project. It’s our chance to take part in this exciting boost to our industry, with projects that catalyse innovation, share knowledge and have the potential to connect and export our products.
If you would like to attend then please contact Kirsty Lovell, kirsty@bristolmedia.co.uk, to book your place.
What is iNet?
Networking for Innovation (iNets) is a product within the government-funded Solutions for Business portfolio of business support. An iNet is a proven way of helping businesses to introduce new techniques and products; access specialist information and research to find new markets; and share knowledge and expertise. The Creative Industries iNet is one of five iNets in key business sectors in South West England – the others are Aerospace and Advanced Engineering, BioMedical, Environmental Technology & Microelectronics. iNets South West are supported by £13.5 million of funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and delivery partner investments.
