Encounters International Film Festival kicks off next week from 16th November, brining 6 days of cinematic delights to Bristol. This year marks the return of Animated and Brief Encounters as the two competition strands of the festival. Once again the harbourside with be bustling with filmmakers, animators, industry professionals and film enthusiasts to participate and celebrate short filmmaking in Britain and across the world. This years highlights include appearances from special guests actor Andy Serkis, and comedian Tim Minchin; masterclasses from Industry elite's such as Stop Motion Pro, NFTS, ICO and the London Film Academy; an exploration of World and Archive films, Shorts 2 Features, and an abundance of short films and animations featuring in this years competition.
