Bristol Media are delighted to announce details of our very first Bristol Creative Directors Network event! We’ll be joined on Wednesday by one of Europe’s leading CDs, Patrick Collister who’ll be giving us his personal take on what it really takes to become a world class Creative Director.

Patrick started as a trainee copywriter at Ogilvy Benson & Mather in 1977, worked at several other agencies before returning to Ogilvy as Executive Creative in 1993. After seven years he left and became the European Executive Creative for EHS Brann. Today he publishes Directory Magazine, edits The Big Won and runs a training company, Creative Matters.

Why a Bristol Creative Directors Network?

Bristol is a hugely diverse, unorthodox and creative city, and as the number of creative people and businesses grow, so does the community.

Collaboration has long been one of the city’s unique qualities and this is a wonderful opportunity to share and learn with some of your peers in a relaxed environment.

Also, lots of people have, over the last 12 months, been asking Bristol Media to start a small and friendly group of like minded creative people. So, we have, and this is the first in a series of regular events.

Patrick has kindly offered to come to Bristol and spill the beans at our first get together. Witty and irreverent, it should be a lot of fun and a great opportunity to chat to fellow creatives.

As Patrick would say ‘Deluxe regards and see you there."
