Arthur Cox need your archive
![]()
The talented people at Arthur Cox have been awarded funding to make a digital archive project called ‘A Time Traveller’s Guide to Bristol’. It involves a website and iPhone application and they are working in conjunction with Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives and Mobile Pie. The project is also supported by Destination Bristol and funded by the Regional Investment Fund England (RIFE) through the UK Film Council’s Digital Film Archive Fund via South West Screen.
Have you got it?
This is a digital archaeological time scrape enabling the audience to be able to visualize their city as different layers over the past century, as well as in the present and future. There are six hotspots in Bristol: Redcliffe Hill, Park Street, The Harbour, The Memorial Ground (Ikea), Castle Park and Stokes Croft.
Arthur Cox are now looking for film, audio or photo archive of these six areas.
Do you have archive material you could contribute towards the project or a great story to tell?
Please email: hilary@worldofarthurcox.com for more information or to discuss donating footage.
