The Jessie May Trust are on target to raise £20k this year

The Jessie May Trust is at the heart of home respite care for children with terminal illness and is the only organisation to provide this vital service in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
At the beginning of 2009, they launched their charity of the year partnership with Bristol International Airport. Through hard work and support with shaking buckets, they’ve now raised over £17,000 which is amazing achievement and means they have almost raised enough to care for two families, for an entire year.
They now need to fill their schedules for the remainder of the year, and it would be great if some of you could help. They need collectors on Saturdays and Mondays for a two hour shift. Or, if you feel that you or your company, group or association could manage a whole day, that would be even better.
The goal is to raise a total of £20,000 by the end of December this year. All money raised will go towards providing more desperately needed support to every family caring for a terminally ill child at home in the local area.
If you could spare a couple of hours to shake a bucket, please call Melanie Ball on 0117 961 6840 or email her melanie.ball@jessiemaytrust.org.uk
