Bristol heads out to SXSW festival on Thursday

A group of Bristol Media member companies are heading over to this year’s SXSW Interactive, Music and Film festival to showcase their work, make business connections and to distribute hundreds of copies of 0117 Made In Bristol to delegates.
Companies including Sift, Team Rubber, Mobile Pie, Simon Games, Watershed, Aardman and Plymouth based HMC Interactive are heading over to the interactive element of the two week festival and conference. A team of Bristol Music Foundation members are also heading out as well as representatives from the Arts Council.
Bristol Media and i-shed are also taking hundreds of copies of ‘0117 – Made In Bristol’ to distribute across the whole conference and to give out to key industry personnel via the main UKTI stand in the Austin convention center.
Mike Bennett, Bristol Media CEO said:
“This is a huge opportunity to promote the work of Bristol Media members and 0117 to a huge international audience at one of the biggest industry events in the calendar.”
Mike continued:
“The whole event is full of industry and business led seminars, talks, showcases and networking opportunities. It’s attended by some of the world’s leading figures across the digital, film and music sectors and we’ll be armed with copies of 0117 to thrust in their hands.”
