Bristol-based Auros takes South West top spot in Deloitte Technology Fast 50

With an overall national position of 14, the growth rate of Clifton-based Auros is twice that of the other entries in the South West and Wales region.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50, one of the UK’s foremost technology award programmes, is a ranking of the country’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies based on percentage growth over five years. The Fast 50 programme honours business growth, technological innovation and UK entrepreneurial spirit.
Dominic Mills, co-founder and managing director of Auros comments, “We are absolutely delighted with our position. It reflects the commitment and dedication of Team Auros and the strength of the relationships that we continue to build with our clients across a wide range of market sectors – relationships that have enabled us to take the business to these levels. I look forward to continuing to grow the business, despite the tough economic climate that we have all been trading in.”

The company was founded in 2001 by Dominic Mills and co-director Catherine Brown. Specialising in online web solutions, Auros currently has 32 staff and is actively looking to increase its headcount by ten people.
David Halstead, Partner leading the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, says, “In spite of the challenging financial market conditions, the 2009 Deloitte Fast 50 shows that stellar growth rates are still possible. The Technology Fast 50 awards are an opportunity for businesses to gain recognition for their successes and achievements over the previous 12 months.
“The importance of a company’s relationship with its customers is clear – listening to feedback and providing an excellent service are crucial in achieving these impressive levels of growth through a turbulent time for the sector.”
Dominic started his first enterprise age 11 and his passion for business grew from there.
