Televisual Roadshow comes to Bristol

The Televisual Roadshow is a comprehensive, producer-focused series of Free business seminars that takes place across the country and they are visiting Bristol on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st October.
Three seminars take place on the first day, including an evening session and two on the second. Each seminar lasts around three-and-a-half hours and takes place at The Picture House on Whiteladies Road in partnership with Films at 59.
Televisual is acutely aware that the independent production business is going through change. The Televisual Roadshow seminars provide you with valuable current business intelligence from commissioning, co-pro finance and local opportunities to production budgeting and modern production thinking – all presented in a jargon free fashion with supporting case studies.
Speakers over the two days include:
- Alison Bradburn, Parthenon’s Head of Operations, on shooting HD on a budget
- BBC Bristol’s Head of Production, Kalpna Woolf, on production budgeting.
- Allison Bean, Managing Director of Off The Fence about winning and financing the commission.
Bristol Media Director and Icon Managing Director Laura Marshall will also be discussing Production Budgeting and our own Chairman Paul Appleby will be presenting on the local media economy and business opportunities.
Delegates are expected to have executive, producing, directing, project managing or operational roles and be working in or for an independent production company, broadcaster or facility.
All seminars are FREE to attend once you’ve registered on this site. Please pass on the link to your colleagues, peers and the team.
