This scheme has previously been commended by the Department for Education & Skills as a best-practice training scheme and is widely recognised by industry as being the most successful route into Production Accounting.

Funded by the Skillset Film Skills Fund and the UK feature film industry, selected trainees will over a ten-month period undertake a programme of short courses and attachments to features and television drama. Successful candidates will receive a tax-free training allowance of £300 per week.

Last year’s graduates from the scheme worked on productions as diverse as HARRY POTTER & THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, THE WOLF MAN, FRANKLIN, THE BOAT THAT ROCKED, IN THE LOOP, A BUNCH OF AMATEURS, THE DESCENT II, HIPPY HIPPY SHAKE, DESPERADOS, GREEN ZONE AND THE IMAGINARIUM OF DR PARNASSUS

Applications from people who are currently under-represented in the industry – women, ethnic minorities and people with disabilities – are particularly welcome. Closing Date Friday 24th October, 2008
