Digital agency Beef launch the brand, website, advertising and merchandise for Sugarhill Festival 2008. Beef have created a new brand identity for the Sugarhill Festival and designed and developed the website as the centre point of their marketing strategy for 2008. The work was commissioned by aliBi Consulting.
Alongside the website, Beef also designed the festival programmes, t-shirts and a series of adverts to be rolled out in the national music press both in print and online. The campaign hasn’t stopped there with Beef overseeing the printing of a 25ft wide banner to be placed along the side of the M4 motorway to highlight the festival location.
Benjamin Hostler, Creative Director at Beef said: “Working with the Sugarhill and aliBi team has been an exciting project – the independent music festival scene is somewhat over-saturated and small festivals like Sugarhill often get overlooked. We wanted to create a unique identity for the festival to make them stand out from the crowd. Working on all aspects of the promotional material is a new experience for us, and has enabled us to create a cohesive brand identity. The website gave us a chance to flex our creative muscles and use techniques that aren’t appropriate for some of our other work.”
Alison Byard of aliBi Consulting added: “Giving the commission to Beef was the right choice. Their work has been second to none, helping to raise the profile and visibility of the festival. Our audience ranges from typical festival goers through to families and the identity Beef have designed has exactly the right appeal. The website is key to our promotional strategy and the solution Beef delivered is really quite special.”
