Encounters 2008 Call for Entries - deadline
There are now only two weeks left for filmmakers to submit entries to the 2008 Encounters Short Film Festival. The deadline is Wednesday 18th June.
Now in its 14th year, Encounters Short Film Festival has become known world-wide for the extraordinary community of filmmakers it attracts, and for the quality and scope of its programming. This celebrated event is the largest festival of its kind in the UK, showcasing over 250 new international short films each year. The HP Digital Viewing library offers more than 600 films for ‘on demand’ viewing available to all delegates’ buyers, distributors, programmers and press. We have had a great response so far but you still have time to get your shorts in to us and remember if you are part of an institution or have three or more entries, get in touch with the festival office as we can arrange discounts.
We’ll be short listing throughout the summer and plan to announce which films have been selected for competition by the end of August. Good luck!
