Show and Tell - Heroes : How the audience helped Tim Kring get it right
With series 2 now well under way and attracting several million viewers, our next Show and Tell event at the Picture House is well timed. “Heroes” was one of the international successes of 2007 and with a local angle. Chris Humpherson, Adrian Edwards and Katherine Bristow from Attentional reveal the role of audience research in shaping the complexity of the storylines and the character development. With “Audience Need” the starting point for most projects, the team provide focussed research for ideas, rebranding and launches. They use a system of Targeted Indexing to provide a rigorous analysis of TV overnight figures and an understanding how new technologies in PVR and VOD are effecting the viewing of programmes.
The Show and Tell event takes place at The Picture House on Whiteladies Road and starts promptly at 6.30pm-8pm and is free to Bristol Media members.
