We are very pleased to announce that our Show case this month features Films @ 59 who have just been nominated for the title of ‘Best Post Production House’ in the upcoming Broadcast Awards 2009. The awards are one of the most anticipated events in the UK broadcast industry’s calendar, held to recognise and reward excellence in programme-making.

They are the only post production company outside London to be nominated, which reflects the strengths of Bristol and the South West Region in the creative sector. The results will be announced at a gala event in London on the 21st January.

For our Showcase we met Films at 59’s very own development manager, George Panayiotou who showed us behind the scenes and and gave us the low down on one of the citys leading media companies. Check it out here.
