Well, we’d all been waiting for its arrival for months, but last Thursday saw the launch of 0117 and the Christmas Party.

The Exhibition Space at Paintworks turned into a Morroccan souk with a tented roof, lanterns, cushions, candles and hookahs. Over 350 revellers danced until the early hours to the fabulous Rinky Dinks and gambled their chips for prizes at the Casino Tables.

0117 was officially launched by Helen Holland, Leader of Bristol City Council and Dick Penny from the Watershed both of whom celebrated the fantastic array of companies featured in the publication that as we speak is being sent around th world to promote Bristol and it’s creative industries. Anti VJs Joanie and Nico produced some amazing images around the cover of the annual and there were copies for all to take away. We have had some great feedback about both 0117 and the Party which has now become a Christmas event not to be missed in Bristol. Thanks to everyone who came for making it a great start to the Party season and a huge thanks to the Wildfire team (Tam, Martin, mary and Dougal) for creating such a great publication (we’ve already had companies contact us about being in the next one!)

So, lets hope it becomes a regular feature in the coming years.
