Plans for the next Encounters Short Film Festival are developing rapidly and the organisers are hoping Bristol’s creative industries and media training providers will use it as a chance to get the word out about their work and skills to an audience that is likely to be bigger and more international than ever before.

Promotional opportunities on offer by the festival include brochure advertising (deadline September 13), inserts in the delegate bags and solo or part sponsorship of specific activities and events..

Encounters MD Sue Lion says: "We’re expecting to welcome around 5,000 people to Encounters 2007, including many major players in the international animation, film, digital content and television industry, as well as large numbers from the Bristol area. As a result, the festival is a terrific place to convey messages to potential clients and customers, locally, nationally and internationally.

The festival next takes place in Bristol from 21-25 November.
