Think Beach
Demos is extending an open invitation for people from all parts of Bristol life to take part in the Think Beach discussion & networking events that will happen every Tuesday evening throughout the summer at a newly sand-strewn former Redcliff. Bristol, car park.
The car park (near to The Ostrich) has been transformed into a urban beach the help of 500 tonnes of sand, and some palm trees and deckchairs – the perfect place, Demos reckons, to find creative inspiration and explore new ideas.
Think Beach begins on Tuesday 24 July with Look Into My Ideas (6pm-8pm), led by Charlie Tims, a senior researcher at Demos and author of _"So What Do You Do?":http://http://www.demos.co.uk/publications/sowhatdoyoudoreport _and continues every Tuesday thereafter until September.
Admission is free, but places are limited so reserve a place beforehand by emailing Think Beach For more info on why the beach has been created and the full events programme, see Urban Beach or call Tuur Van Balen on 0207 367 4200.
