Light Up Bristol - spread the word
As I am sure you all know by now this December, College Green will undergo a magical transformation into five nights of Winter Wonderland as Light Up Bristol takes place. The event runs between 17 – 21 December on College Green and we need you to spread the word. You can download a flyer here and send it to your friends or get more info at www.lightupbristol.co.uk.
Highlights this year include
- Designs by some of Bristol’s leading creative talent
- Films projected 400ft across Bristol’s Council House
- Spectacular light show across the Cathedral and College Green
- Nightly snow blizzard by film special effects company Snow Business
- Festive winter warmers including Mulled Wine, Chestnuts and beers from Bath Ales
- Nightly live VJ finale from the world-renowned Anti VJ
Plus Light Up Bristol is the theme of the "December Dorkbot ":http://www.dorkbot.org/dorkbotbristol/?p=72 on 11 December at 7pm at Watershed. Hear from some of the creators and organisers, including world-renowned Anti-VJ who employ a unique mapping technique to create work which is a pixel-perfect match to the architecture they’re working with.
