Wildscreen – the conservation trust best known for handing out wildlife film and tv awards found out what it is like to be on the receiving end of prizes when it was named a winner in the Charity Awards – Britain’s most prestigious accolades for non-profit organisations.

It was honoured for its work in creating ARKive – a free-to-view online collection of films, sound recordings and photographs of endangered species.

Chief Executive Harriet Nimmo was in London to collect Wildscreen’s prize during a ceremony also attended by Dara O’Briain, Rachael Stirling, Kate Adie, Sian Phillips, Zoe Wannamaker, George Alagiah and Lord( Neil) Kinnock, among others.
